So....I'm back again! Another month has gone by since I've made a new blog post... Just like before, I have been so busy, and I just haven't been trying new recipes, or even cooking as often as I would like. So here's a little update on what's been going on! I just started fall semester at school, and I'm taking 5 classes. I am still working at the Treehouse Daycare, and I'll soon be a substitute for the Watertown School District! I'm working and going to school everyday, and I'm actually swamped with homework basically all the time.
In the past month, I passed my summer class, threw a babyshower for a favorite friend (with some girls from work), mom came to visit, and we got a free grill (had to add that to the month's highlights ;)! Its been so busy, I just can't believe we're already in September... (which means just a few more months til we are home for Christmas, and Cory gets to see his family!) The year is flying by, we've already been in NY for 6 months, and loving every minute of living in the North Country!! Can't wait for fall, and all the pumpkin flavored things!
If you guys have any favorite fall foods, you have to let me know! I've never cooked in a cold environment (if that makes sense), so I'm excited to try some new recipes!
Okay so here's a super easy and healthy smoothie recipe I came up with, to keep me full all afternoon at work!

Banana Almond Butter Smoothie
Ingredients:
~2 frozen bananas
~1/4 c vanilla greek yogurt
~1/4 c almond milk
~1/4 c almond butter
~dash of honey
~handful of ice
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into mason jar, add a cute straw, and enjoy!
The only thing that could make this smoothie better is adding some chocolate! Hope you guys enjoy, and I promise I will do a better job at posting in the future ;)
