Amped Up Asparagus

One of my favorite vegetable side dishes (besides steamed broccoli of course) is asparagus! I used to love it as a kid, and even more so now! The way I make it is seriously so easy, and tastes so good! I am pleasantly surprised that Cory and Don love it! Tonight, I made it alongside chicken and yellow rice, but it also goes great paired with salmon, steak, or even hamburgers! Literally, it tastes great with anything, and its so good for you! The recipe for my Amped Up Asparagus is below!

Amped Up Asparagus

Ingredients:

~enough asparagus for whoever you're cooking for (we usually can eat between 6-9 individual asparagus stalks per person)

~Mrs. Dash original seasoning

~roasted red pepper Italian dressing

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 F.

2. Arrange your asparagus on a baking sheet, making sure none of them are overlapping.

3. Drizzle the Italian dressing evenly over the asparagus, making sure each stalk is wet, but not completely coated in the dressing.

4. Add the seasonings (and S&P if you wish) and pop in the oven! Don't leave in oven for less than 25 minutes, or longer than 45 minutes!

So easy right? And only a few ingredients! I usually start my asparagus first, before I start on the main course, just so everything gets done at the same time. I left it in the oven for about 30 minutes tonight, and it honestly could have used an extra 10 minutes. Some parts were a bit crunchy, but hey, if that's how you like it then go for it! :)

Try out the Amped Up Asparagus and let me know what you think! Leave me a comment on how the blog is going thus far, along with any suggestions you might have!
