So, for Christmas, my mom made me the most AMAZING cookbook filled with all the recipes she made for me and my sisters when we were little. She added cute little pictures throughout the whole book and it was basically the best thing ever. She also added "Mom Tips" on every page that pertained to the recipes, just little tips and tricks that she has learned throughout her years of cooking. I decided to share some of her tips with you all, and I hope you find them useful!

Mom Tips:

~Never use iodized table salt; it'll kill ya! Always use sea salt!

~Extra Virgin Olive Oil is not the same as Extra Light. Stick with the EVOO.

~Never ever use margarine to cook or bake with. Real butter is ALWAYS best!

~Serve your condiments in bowls or plates: ketchup bottles and mayo jugs are unbecoming of a pretty table.

~Be good to your garlic, but if you scorch it on accident, throw your food away, clean your pan and start over.

~Presentation is everything, so try to give each dish a little extra love by adding fresh herbs as garnish!

I will be posting "Mom Tips" every couple of days, so stay tuned! You can thank Momma Lunsford for these awesome tips!
